Symptoms

You use the Coded User Interface (UI) Test Builder to add controls to the UIMap object for a Windows Library for JavaScript (WinJS) app. However, the generated code does not run.

Cause

This problem occurs because the Coded UI Test Builder for Windows Store apps supports only Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) apps. Windows Store apps that use WinJS are not supported for Coded UI tests.

Workaround

There is no work around or resolution for this problem because this scenario is not supported.
