Netscape Mail to Outlook. How to Convert During SetupOutlook performs a silent conversion of e-mail items throughout the Setup procedure. If Setup detects that Netscape Mail or Netscape Messenger is installed on your computer, Setup lists the Netscape programs that are installed and offers to convert the messages and addresses. If you click Yes, the conversion completes without further intervention. Converted messages are imported to the Folder List. Addresses are imported to the Windows Address Book (WAB).How to Convert After You Run SetupIf you choose not to convert Netscape e-mail items during Setup, you can use the Outlook Import And Export Wizard to perform this operation at any time after you install Outlook. You must have the Netscape program installed on your computer. Use the following steps to import Netscape Mail or Netscape Messenger items:
NOTE: In each of the previous scenarios, the conversion only occurs if the Netscape product is installed on your computer. This applies to conversions done during Active Setup and during the Import and Export process.
