SYMPTOMS
You can save Data Transformation Services (DTS) packages with an owner and user password for additional security except when you save them to the repository or to a Microsoft Visual Basic file. However, when you try to save a DTS package as a structured storage file by using the DTSWIZ (DTS wizard), the options to specify an owner and user password appear dimmed. This problem only occurs when you try to save the package as a structured storage file by using DTSWIZ. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
