SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to use Internet Explorer to place a file on a Novell NetWare version 4.x or 5.x FTP server, you may receive the following error message:

FTP Folder Error

An error occurred opening the folder on the FTP server. Make sure you have permission to access this folder.

Details:
550 No Such Directory PATH

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Internet Explorer version 5.5. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
