FIX: No Vertical Scroll Bar in DTS Dynamic Properties Task Properties Dialog Box

SYMPTOMS

In SQL Enterprise Manager (SEM), when you double-click a Data Transformation Services (DTS) package to open the DTS Designer and then double-click an existing dynamic properties task to open the Dynamic Properties Task Properties dialog box, the vertical scroll bar does not appear in the Change list box when needed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SQL Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

WORKAROUND

Use either of the following workarounds:
  • Click in the Change list box on the Dynamic Properties Task Properties dialog box and then use the down arrow to scroll down as needed.
  • On the Dynamic Properties Task Properties dialog box, click Edit and on the next screen click Cancel.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in SQL Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
