Introduction

This article describes Hotfix Package 1 for Microsoft Application Virtualization 5.0 Server Service Pack 1.

Note We recommend that you test hotfixes before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the builds are cumulative, each new hotfix release contains all the hotfixes and security fixes that were included with the previous update package. We recommend that you consider applying the most recent fix release that contains the most necessary hotfixes.

This hotfix package addresses the following issues.

Issue 1

When you use the server features of Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) 5.0 to define connection groups, the connection group priority is always published as 0.

Note This problem occurs regardless of what setting is applied to the connection group priority.

This problem occurs because the connection group priority is retrieved incorrectly from the Management database. Therefore, the connection group priority is always retrieved as 0.

More information

To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix before you set the connection group priority.
