Symptoms

Assume that you apply Cumulative Update 12 for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1), or Cumulative Update 5 for SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2. When you use Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services (SSAS 2008) to perform some operations, exceptions may occur, and SSAS may crash.
