SUMMARY This article describes how to disable the Multimedia button in Outlook Web Access (OWA) for Exchange 2000. When you disable the Multimedia button in OWA, you prevent external users from using large amounts of bandwidth to download multimedia files over wide area network (WAN) links. NOTE: If you deploy Exchange 2000 Server in a Front End/Back End (FE/BE) configuration, you must make the changes described in this article to both the front end server and the back end server.
