SYMPTOMS

When you click the Microsoft Visio UML add-in toolbar button from Microsoft Visual Basic 6 or Microsoft Visual C++ 6, you may receive the following error message:

Please wait while Microsoft Windows configures Visio 2002 Professional.

Visio 2000 and Visio 2002 UML Solution reverse engineering add-ins for Visual Basic 6 or Visual C++ 6 cannot be used simultaneously on the same computer. This error message occurs because Visio 2000 was run before Visio 2002.

Windows Installer automatically repairs Visio 2002 and updates the settings modified by Visio 2000. No user intervention is required.
