Svchost.exe Creates a Memory Leak When RNDSTRESS Test Runs on ILS Server

When you run the RNDSTRESS test utility on an Internet Locator Service (ILS) server for any period of time, you see a gradual increase in memory usage and CPU usage by Svchost.exe when SharedAccess is running. When you end the RNDSTRESS test, the CPU goes back to its normal state but Svchost.exe does not release the memory used for the test.

This behavior can affect clients that use NetMeeting or other Internet rendezvous-based programs.

The memory leak occurs because the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) proxy that is incorporated in the Network Address Translator (NAT) does not properly remove the registration entries in the LDAP Address Translation Table that are created by ILS registrations from a rendezvous-based program.
