When you perform a search of a Windows 2000-based computer that does not have any shared folders, working across a Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide Area Network (WAN), the desktop of the Windows 2000-based computer where you are working may stop responding. The following error message appears:
Program Error explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.
