SYMPTOMS
When you use an HTTP connection to connect to Analysis Server from an Active Server Pages (ASP) page by means of the Office Web Component, the session ID of the ASP Session object may be reset, so that a connection is not allowed from an Office Web Component (OWC) such as a Pivot Table Control when Internet Information Services (IIS) is configured to use Basic authentication. CAUSE
