Assume that you install Microsoft Lync for Mac 2011 in a MacBook Air laptop. You try to make a video call by using Lync for Mac 2011. In this situation, you receive the following error message:
Your webcam is not available. Make sure that your webcam is correctly configured and is not being used by another application. Then start the call again.


This issue occurs because the new FaceTime camera in a MacBook Air laptop does not support the SequenceGrabber API. Therefore, the camera does not work in Lync for Mac 2011.


To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
