You select an inactive search folder in Outlook 2007, such as the Unread Mail search folder. In this situation, the RPC Client Access service may stop unexpectedly. Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log: Faulting application name: Microsoft.Exchange.RpcClientAccess.Service.exe, version: 14.3.123.3, time stamp: 0x5110a3ce CauseThis issue occurs because the search restrictions in Outlook 2007 search folders are processed by a recursive function. Then, a stack overflow occurs. Therefore, the Microsoft.Exchange.RpcClientAccess.Service.exe process stops. ResolutionTo resolve this issue, install the following update rollup: 2917508
