Symptoms
Log Filtering in Internet Information Services (IIS) Advanced Logging lets users capture only the data that they are interested in. If this feature is enabled for IIS 7.0 or IIS 7.5, the memory usage of the Application Pool increases over time.Â
Cause
This problem occurs because of an issue in the Advanced Logging module.
Resolution
Hotfix information
To resolve this problem, install the following hotfix from the Microsoft Download Center:

Prerequisites
You must have IIS 7.0 or IIS 7.5 and the Advanced Logging module 1.0 installed on one of the following operating systems to apply this hotfix:

Restart information
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
Replacement information

Workaround
To work around this problem, take one of the following actions:

To continue to use Advanced Logging, disable any existing logging filters.

Disable Advanced Logging.

Upgrade to Microsoft Internet Information Services 8.5. The most-used Advanced Logging module features have been added to IIS 8.5.
