How to Reinstall the Small Business Server 2000 Console

SUMMARY

In Small Business Server (SBS) 2000, you can reinstall the console by using the integrated setup, which restores functionality of the SBS console by verifying and updating the necessary, default settings of components.

You can run Setup.exe from SBS 2000 CD 1 (which places Setup in Maintenance mode):
  1. Click Set Up Small Business Server.
  2. On the Component Selection page, expand Small Business Server.
  3. Expand Administration.
  4. Under Consoles, click Reinstall, and then complete the wizard to finish reinstalling all console-related files.
