OL2002: How to Publish Your Outlook Calendar as a Web Page

When you use Outlook, you can save a calendar as a Web page so that you can share it with others. For example, you can post a calendar with important project dates as a Web page on your company intranet. You can also post your soccer team's game schedule as a Web page on your personal Web site. You can then refer others to the calendar if you give them the Uniform Resource Locator (URL).

When you save a calendar as a Web page, you can specify the start date and the end date, include appointment details that are entered in the text section of the appointment, and add a background color or image.

To save your calendar as a Web page:

1. Open Outlook, and then click on Calendar.
2. On the File menu, click Save as Web Page.
3. Under Duration, type a start date in the Start Date box, and then type an end date in the End Date box.
4. Under Options, choose the options that you want.
5. Type a title for the calendar in the Calendar title box.
6. In the File Name box, type the path to the location where you want to save the files, and then click Save.
   
   The path can be to your hard drive, to a shared network folder, or to a Web server where you have permissions to create files. If the path is on your hard drive, the calendar is saved as a Hypertext Markup Language (.htm) file in a folder that uses the title as both the file name and the folder name.
