Visio2002: Error Message: "Error 1925. You Do Not Have Sufficient Privileges" Performing Setup with the /J Switch on NT 4.0

SYMPTOMS

When you install Microsoft Visio 2002 using the /j command-line switch, you receive the following error message:
Error 1925. You do not have sufficient privileges to complete this installation for all users of the machine. Log on as administrator and then retry this installation.
NOTE: You receive this message even though you are logged on as administrator.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you are installing Visio 2002 on a computer using the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 operating system.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, install Visio without using the /j switch on the computer that is using Windows NT 4.0.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
