When you open a Microsoft Visio 2000 drawing in Microsoft Visio 2002, the AutoCAD object that you inserted in the Visio 2000 drawing is displayed incorrectly: The shape is wider than it appears in Visio 2000.

RESOLUTION

NOTE: If you manually change the width of the CAD object, you jeopardize the scale of the original drawing.

If scaling is not a concern, work around this issue by changing the width of the CAD drawing object. To do this, follow these steps:
1.Right-click the CAD drawing object, click Format, and then click Protection.
2.Click to clear the Width and Aspect ratio check boxes.
3.Use the size handles on the sides of the CAD drawing object to adjust the width.
