attachment, you may receive the following error message: Microsoft Word has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience. To see what data this error report contains, click here. CAUSE This problem may occur if you send multiple files to a mail
recipient as attachments, and the file name of the second file that you send is
longer than the file name of the first file. The error message appears when you
try to send a third file as an attachment. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest

WORKAROUND To work around this problem, send the document with the
longer file name before you send the document with the shorter file name.
STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
This problem was first corrected in Microsoft
Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP-2). MORE INFORMATION The Office Error Reporting dialog box
appears when an error occurs that results in a fatal event in the program. The
Office Error Reporting dialog box includes a button to send
the information about the fatal event to Microsoft. Microsoft gathers
information about these types of events in a database to try and identify the
