SYMPTOMS

Internet Explorer may load a blank page when you attempt to load a .pdf file by using a Name Destination such as:
A href="filename.pdf#starthere"

CAUSE

Internet Explorer incorrectly parses the location that is passed that describes where to start loading the .pdf document. Because of this, a blank page is loaded instead of the proper location somewhere within the .pdf file. This location is provided in the HTML code by using the number sign (#).
