OL2002: Pocket Outlook Displays Incorrect Characters

When you synchronize the Notes folder by using a Pocket PC (PPC) device, it produces unexpected results. If you place colons (:) or slashes (/) in the first line of the note, they turn into underscores (_) characters.

This behavior occurs because the Pocket Outlook software does not display special characters in the Subject field.

This is by design.

To work around this behavior and view the note after you synchronize, open the note completely.
