When you log on as an administrator and attempt to add drivers or change the network settings on a domain controller after upgrading the domain controller from Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, the following error message may appear:
You do not have sufficient security privileges to uninstall devices or to
change device properties or device drivers. Please contact your site
administrator, or log out and log in again as an administrator and try again.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because not all of the rights and permissions are migrated to Windows 2000 Group Policy during the upgrade process.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, add the necessary permissions for the Administrator account:
