FIX: Various Problems with Localized Versions of the BizTalk SDK Samples

SYMPTOMS

When you use some of the samples that ship with Microsoft BizTalk Server on a non-English (localized) version of BizTalk Server, you may encounter one or more of the following errors:
  • In the Microsoft Visual Basic version of the BTSAppIntegration sample, you may receive the following error message when you run the Scenario.wsf file:
    There is no script engine for the dll component.
  • In the Microsoft Visual C++ version of the BTSAppIntegration sample, you may receive the following error message when you run the Scenario.wsf file with Cscript.exe:
    FAIL An Object Cannot Be Found
  • In the Visual Basic version of the PipelineComponent sample, you may receive the following error message when you run the Scenario.wsf file with Cscript.exe:
    FAIL An Object Cannot Be Found
  • In the Visual C++ version of the PipelineComponent sample, you may receive the following error message when you run the Scenario.wsf file with Cscript.exe:
    FAIL An Object Cannot Be Found

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
