SYMPTOMS
If a CREATE MINING MODEL statement uses the EQUAL_AREAS or THRESHOLDS keyword for the discretization behavior of a DISCRETIZED column, a syntax error occurs, which indicates that the keyword is not recognized.
CAUSE
The error is caused by an error in the parser that checks the CREATE MINING MODEL statement.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (the Analysis Services Components - Sql2kasp1.exe). For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
