SYMPTOMS

When you run a DELETE statement on an updatable partition view that contains text or image data, the following error message may occur:
Server: Msg 3624, Level 20, State 1, Line 1

Location: rowset.cpp:3105
Expression: m_cILockBytesOpen == 0
SPID: 54 Process ID: 568

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in SQL Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
