When you run the Snapshot Agent for a merge publication that has join filters and column partitions (also referred to as "vertical partitions" or "vertical filters"), the Snapshot Agent may fail with the following 107 error message:
"The column prefix '%.*ls' does not match with a table name or alias name used in the query".
While creating the snapshot, the sp_MSpublicationview stored procedure fails when creating a view that references the table names used in the join_filter clause:
( view name = <publication name> + '_' + <article_name> + '_VIEW' )
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft SQL Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
