If you run Setup with a full or upgrade version of Visio 2002, and the Visio 2002 trial version is still installed on your computer, you must uninstall the Trial version before the installation can continue. While you are running Setup with a non-trial version, you receive the following message:
Setup has detected a Trial version of Visio installed on this computer. A full Retail version of Visio may not be installed on the same computer as a Trial version. To continue this installation, first uninstall the Trial version, then run this setup program again.
Manually Uninstalling the Trial VersionYou can manually uninstall the Visio 2002 trial version at any time. To do this, follow these steps:
Reduced-Functionality ModeIf your Visio 2002 Trial version license expires, you can start the Visio programs a total of five times before the programs begin running in reduced-functionality mode. In reduced-functionality mode, you cannot make modifications to diagrams or create a new diagrams, and additional functionality may be reduced.
