This article was previously published under Q299609 SYMPTOMS
When you use a command-line switch to control what happens when you start
Microsoft Outlook, you may receive an error message that is resembles one of the following error messages:
Windows cannot find "Outlook /switch". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
Cannot find the file "Outlook /switch" (or one of its
components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all
required libraries are available.
Windows cannot find "Outlook /cleanreminders". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the command-line switch is included in the path and is enclosed in opening and closing quotation marks, or because the Outlook.exe file is not in the current path.
