Microsoft Clip Organizer cannot access information in your collections, or you receive one of the following error messages:
Storage for My Collections is corrupted beyond repair.
-or-
MSTOREDB.EXE has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
-or-
Clip Organizer cannot access the file. An error occurred during a seek operation.
-or-
Clip Organizer cannot complete the operation. An unexpected error occurred.
CAUSE
The main catalog, Mstore10.mgc, may be corrupted. The Mstore10.mgc file stores properties about clips that you import into Clip Organizer. Clip properties include information such as keywords, categories, and thumbnail previews. NOTE: These errors may also occur for other reasons. RESOLUTION
Compact the main catalog. To do this, follow these steps:
