WD2000: Word Quits Unexpectedly If You Save Digitally Signed Document After You Modify Document Variables

When you try to save a document that is based on a template that contains document variables, Microsoft Word quits unexpectedly.

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:

• The document is based on a template that is digitally signed, but the digital signature does not exist on your computer.
  
  -and-
• Macro code that modifies existing document variables has run.

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office 2000. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
