  1. Download the public update manifest to your Virtual Directory’s physical folder from one of the following OEM links, depending on the manufacturer of your Lync Room System. The OEM may require the physical folder to be a specific folder in a folder structure.

  2. To extract the update manifest to the folder, follow these steps:

    1. At a command prompt, move to the physical folder by using the cd command.

    2. To extract LyncRoomUpdates.xml to the physical folder, run one of the following commands for the corresponding OEM:

    1. For each update package that is released later than 15.10 update package, create a new folder in the MajorVersion.MinorVersion.HotfixVersion format. For example, create a folder named "15.11.0" for the 15.11 update package.

    2. Download all files of the update packages that are released before the 15.10 update package, includeing the 15.10 update package, into the virtual directory.

    3. Download the files of each update package that is released later than 15.10 update package into each new folder.
