The Logon Script Does Not Run During the Initial Logon Process

If a slow network connection is detected during the initial logon process, the logon script does not run, even if you disable the "Do not detect slow network connections" policy. This policy will be enabled and the logon script will run during the second logon process.

To enable this policy in User Configuration:

1. In Administrative Templates, click System, and then click Group Policy.
2. Enable Group Policy slow link detection, and then type 0 in the Connection speed box.

To enable this policy in Computer Configuration:

1. In Administrative Templates, click System, and then click Group Policy.
2. Enable Scripts policy processing, and then select the Allow processing across a slow network connection check box.

This behavior is by design.
