SYMPTOMS
When you try to access the Sorting and Grouping dialog box in a report, it does not appear.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if the Sorting and Grouping dialog box has been moved completely off the screen.
RESOLUTION
Use one of the following two methods to resolve this issue.
Method 1Use the arrow keys to move the window back onto the screen. To do so, follow these steps:
Method 2The following technique causes the Sorting and Grouping dialog box to reset to its default window settings. To do this, follow these steps.WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
