Use either of the following methods to create a Web publication in Publisher:
Note that you can use Publisher to create Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) pages, but you cannot use Publisher to open the HTML pages. Publisher can export publications as HTML. However, after an HTML file has been created, Publisher cannot edit the finished HTML page. When you use Publisher to create a Web site, it is recommended that you save a copy of your document as a publication file (.pub). In this way, if you want to make any changes to your Web site, you can edit the .pub file, save it as a new HTML document, and then republish it.
