To add Microsoft PowerPoint 97 to your Microsoft Office 2000 Small Business installation, follow these steps:
1.Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2.Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3.In the list of installed programs, click Microsoft Office 2000, and then click Add/Remove. If you installed Office 2000 from a CD-ROM, you are prompted to insert CD1.
4.After setup is complete, restart your computer.
5.Use Windows Explorer to delete the files in the following folders:

6.Click Start, and then click Run.
7.In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
8. Select the following keys in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0
WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

With the keys selected, click Delete on the Edit menu.

When the confirmation message appears, click Yes.
9.Install Microsoft Office 97, or install only the PowerPoint 97 component of Office 97.

NOTE: Ensure that you quit or disable all programs and antivirus software before proceeding with installation.
10.When Office 97 and/or PowerPoint 97 have been installed, upgrade to Office 2000 Small Business Edition.
