2002 extended Web server by using the Web Publishing Wizard, the Web is not
published, and one of the following error messages appears:
Error: The Web Publishing Wizard was unable to publish
your files to the Web server for the following reason: The FrontPage Server Extensions on the server returned the following error: The version of the FrontPage Server Extensions running on the server is more recent than the version of FrontPage you are using. You need a more recent version of FrontPage. (Error 0x4000c)

The Web site you have specified does not
appear to be FrontPage enabled, so you cannot upload your files to it using the
FrontPage Enabled Web protocol. You might want to try selecting <Other
Internet Provider> from the list of Internet Service Providers.
CAUSE The Web Publishing Wizard is not compatible with Microsoft
FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions. RESOLUTION In FrontPage 2002, you can publish a Web to a FrontPage
2002 extended Web server by clicking Publish Web on the File menu. For more information about publishing your FrontPage Web, click Microsoft FrontPage Help on the Help menu, type publish in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topics returned.
