When you try to synchronize directories between Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Active Directory or Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Active Directory and Lotus Domino, directory entries from the Lotus Domino name and address book are synchronized properly to Active Directory, but the entries from Active Directory are not propagated to the Lotus Domino Name and address book. When you enable advanced logging, the following error message may be logged in the logs found in the Exchsrvr\Conndata\Logs folder:
2000/11/01 8:14:00- LME-NOTES-DXA(0958) 3 60379:Directory Synchronization Import is complete. MS.DXANOTES successfully imported 0 entries, and had problems importing 0 entries.

CAUSE
This issue can occur if the Notes recipient policy is not enabled.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue:

If the Notes recipients policy is not enabled, there are no accounts in Active Directory to synchronize to the Notes server.
