When you run Setup for Office, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
The error message you receive may instead list one of the following additional files:
Error 25506. Microsoft Office XP requires updated system files not detected on your computer. You must install the System Files Update prior to installing Office. C:\Winnt\system32\odbcbcp.dll is version 220.127.116.11 when we require version 18.104.22.168.
You may receive this error message if the files listed in the "Symptoms" section are not at the correct version in the \Windows\System folder or the \Winnt\System32 folder.
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
