When your computer returns from Hibernate or Standby mode and a CD-R media is in your drive, you may receive the following error message where the device is listed as a DVD-ROM drive:
You have unplugged or ejected a device without stopping it.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the ATAPI driver does not wait long enough for media detection with some slower drives.
