This article was previously published under Q305544 On This PageSYMPTOMS When you attempt to synchronize Microsoft Outlook notes to
your device by using ActiveSync, you may receive the following error message:
Synchronization cannot be started because you are not
able to log on to the network and access information. Restart your desktop
computer and synchronize again. If the problem persists, contact your network
administrator. CAUSE This issue can occur if your Personal Folders Store (.pst)
file is damaged. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods. Method 1Create a new .pst file, and then import the data from the old .pst file to the new one.To do this, please follow the instructions in the appropriate Microsoft Knowledge base article.
