When you import appointments with a very large list of attendees from an .sc2 file, you may see the following symptoms:
CAUSE
There is a limitation in the ability of Outlook to import appointments with a very large list of attendees from an .sc2 file. There is a limit of maximum 255 attendees for each appointment during import of .sc2 files.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the

The hotfix limits the number of imported recipients to 254 plus the importer. Recipients above this number are be dropped and not imported. However, the symptoms described in the "Symptoms" section of this article no longer occur.
