OL2002: A Japanese-Language Message in the Body of a Message May Be Unreadable in Outlook 2002

SYMPTOMS

Users may not be able to use Outlook 2002 with the Locale set to Japanese to read an e-mail message that is written in Japanese with the encoding set to Japanese. Users can read same e-mail in Microsoft Outlook 2000 with the same settings.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
