Server mailbox to an offline folder (.ost) file that has reached the 1.82
gigabyte (GB) size limit, you may receive the following error message:
Task ‘Microsoft Exchange Server’ reported error
(0x00040820): Errors in background synchronization. In most cases, further
information is available in a synchronization log in the Deleted items folder.
CAUSE This behavior occurs because Outlook 2002 limits the .ost
file size to approximately 1.82 GB. WORKAROUND Use one of the following methods to work around this
behavior:

(SP-1), you will receive a warning when you approach the 2 gigabyte (GB) size
