When you run administrative tasks on a Windows 2000-based domain where computers use 802.1x wireless networking for secure network access, you may not be able to modify the dial-in permission for computer accounts. If this occurs, you cannot manage computer authentication at the Active Directory level.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the Dial-in tab does not appear in account properties for the computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, follow these steps. Important On one domain controller, you must have already installed Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3), and you must import the Mac80218.ldf file.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 3. MORE INFORMATION
