When you play video or DVD video in Windows Media Player for Windows XP, the video may be clipped. The video may not resize to be larger or smaller when you resize the player. Also, the Fit to Window and Full Screen modes may not function properly.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you are using outdated video adapter drivers. The NeoMagic or ATI video adapter driver that you are using may not be compatible with the latest DirectX technology in Microsoft Windows XP. The driver may have limited ability to perform the required functions.
RESOLUTION
To resolve these issues, check with the manufacturer of the video adapter to determine whether an updated video adapter driver that is compatible with the DirectX technology in Windows XP is available.
