SUMMARY

Microsoft Office provides documentation in the Office Resource Kit that describes the supported methods for modifying the installation of the Office suite of products. Direct modification of the Office MSI or associated MSP and MST files could prevent the successful maintenance of the product, or otherwise modify the configuration in a manner that was unintended by the original design and is not supported.
