The Office XP Resource Kit includes a number of policy templates for use with various Office XP programs. To use a policy template, you must load it by using the Group Policy snap-in. This article describes this procedure.
Listing of Policy TemplatesThe following list includes all of the policy templates that are included in the Office XP Resource Kit. Those policy templates with the name of an Office program contain policy settings that are used exclusively with that program. The Office10.adm file has policy settings that are related to more than one Office program (shared).
How to Load Policy TemplatesTo load Group Policy templates for Windows 2000, start the Group Policy snap-in. Before you can perform this procedure, you may need to start the Microsoft Management Console and then load the Group Policy snap-in.The Group Policy file Gpedit.msc is installed to the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 folder during a default installation of Windows 2000. TroubleshootingThe ADM template syntax for the Group Policy snap-in is now a superset of the ADM template syntax that is used by the System Policy Editor.
