When you use the Server ActiveSync component of Mobile Information Server 2002 to synchronize data to a mobile device, the servers that are running Server ActiveSync must have a valid Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate issued by a trusted certificate authority.
The following root certificates are installed by default on Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 devices, which can act as clients for Server ActiveSync:
