When you modify the security-zone settings in Group Policy Object Editor (Gpedit.msc) and then quit the editor, the security-zone settings may not apply to client computers, and the Seczones.inf file under SYSVOL may not have been updated. CAUSE
This behavior may occur when the technical computer (which runs Group Policy Object Editor) has the Security_HKLM_only value in the following registry key enabled:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
If this key is enabled, only machine settings are used, and user
settings are not used.RESOLUTIONWarning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. To work around this behavior, use either of the following methods: Method 1
